Bunutan Village (Amed) is located on the North-east coast of Bali, approximately 2 hours by car from the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar.
Transport - Getting to Bedulu Resort
Hire a Driver - The easiest way to get to Bedulu Resort is to email us at beduluresort@gmail.com to book an English speaking driver with new air-conditioned vehicle who will pick you up from the Airport, your hotel or anywhere else in Bali. Booking in advance will save you money, below is a price list for our transport service to/from Bedulu Resort to some of the more popular tourist attractions/locations in Bali.
Drive Yourself - When driving from Denpasar/Kuta follow the main Bypass (highway) North to Amlapura via Padang Bali/Candidasa. At Amplapura turn right at the 1st traffic light and then left at the 2nd traffic light (here you should see a sign indicating the way to Amed). The coastal road to Bedulu Resort/Amed is signposted as "Amed" where it branches off from the main highway (the road you have been travelling on) at the Village of Culik - there is a small statue in the middle of the Culik-Amed turn-off/intersection. This smaller road to Amed winds its way through a number of villages before reaching Amed (the first hotels and restaurants mark your arrival in Amed). Continue along this road in the same direction you have been travelling through the Villages of Amed and Jemeluk. At Jemeluk Bay the road then climbs suddenly and very steeply over a headland and then descends more gently into the Village of Bunutan where Bedulu Resort is located. About 500 metres after you have passed the high point of the headland, at the point where the road begins to level out , you will see the Bedulu Resort sign and roadside car park (on the right-hand/hill-side of the road). There is also an upper-level car park for the convenience of guests staying in the Superior and Family Rooms - ask our Staff for directions.
By Boat. Fast boats service the Amed - Gili Islands route on a daily basis. Passengers coming from the Gili Islands will arrive at Jemeluk Bay - less than 1km from Bedulu Resort. From here you could ask around for local transport to take you to Bedulu or even better if you contact us beforehand we will arrange for a driver to be waiting for you at your arrival point - this is a free service for our guests.
